Wellbeing

Message from the Wellbeing and Pastoral Care Lead

Our school motto is “Do our very best in everything we do”. To be able to do to our very best in everything we do, we need to have good emotional wellbeing. This stems from our children, to our staff and stakeholders. We are currently working towards achieving the Wellbeing Award for Schools. It is an award that recognises a school’s efforts to promote and protect positive emotional wellbeing and mental health education and support. The award requires us to develop an action plan to consciously recognise what we currently do and offer additional opportunities to support and promote mental health and wellbeing. I am leading the process, with the support of our “Change Team”. The “Change Team” consists of teachers, parents, students and other adults in school.

Mr Bray.
